Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player within his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for 2017. In Medellin, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his debut long player. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. The following year he was a part of Ozuna on their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that calendar year Dopamina became his second album. In 2021 he recorded the duet to TINI's smash single Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, since both his mom and younger brother are musicians. In interviews, he referred to his participation in music as compulsory. When he was a kid was playing the ukulele as well as piano. The initial goal was to be a veterinarian However, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn how to sing under a Cuban instructor.
